Aegean Apparel is a 26 year old family owned company that specializes in designing & producing sleepwear, loungewear, and soft home goods. Between our 9 labels, our current distribution ranges from small boutique companies to mass retailers with nearly 3,000 locations.

 

We are seeking self-motivated Account Representatives to take care of customer accounts. This individual will also work alongside our merchandising team and creative director to shape our lines for customers’ needs.  

 

The ideal candidate should have an entrepreneurial mindset and an outgoing, creative personality.

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage retail accounts via phone, email, & face-to-face interaction
  • Research & build new relationships
  • Communicate and update clients with the status of their orders, ATS inventory, replenishment, and new line launches
  • Maintain and update line-sheets, purchase orders, and additional sales materials
  • Schedule and prepare for sales appointments
  • Attend sales meetings, trade shows and events
  • Work alongside merchandising, marketing, logistics and design departments
  • Travel 5-8 times per year for markets, tradeshows and miscellaneous meetings with buyers.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Customer Service experience preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Extremely detail-oriented & organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Willingness to travel
